Does traveling ever really get out of your system? Or is it really just a lifelong passion, hobby, and commitment. People often ask the question, "When is it going to end?"
Translating to "When are you going to sit down and live a socially constructed life like the rest of us?"
People often want you to suffer in their own misery. They want you to ride in the same train with them, watch the same movies, and have similar hobbies. When it comes to someone living outside the box, they don't know how to respond. It's difficult to comprehend why someone would want to go off the "normal"path.
When will you get back on the path?
You want to create your own?
What?
It doesn't register that people want something different, something satisfying to Gods purpose and path for you. A path that involves helping others live better lives rather than just focusing on your own day to day routine and family commitment.
To be honest, I had it set in my head that I would stop traveling at 30 and I would sign up for the socially constructed life. I had a relationship that I thought would lead down the marriage path, but it did not work out.
Even if I did find someone, it would have to be someone who shares my drive, passion, and desire to conquer the world one person at a time.
Although, the whole love thing just feels so out of my system as I am determined and focused on my work. When you find a real purpose, it's a gift to be cherished not to just be disregarded.
God did not lead me that way rather I am being sent out into the world to assist people who need my spirit to guide them, a shoulder to cry on, an angel to touch them, and a heart to empathize with them. While they are all new cultures, the human being and it's values remain the same. Humans all over the world are awaiting someone to acknowledge them, the listen, to learn, to create, to educate, to build, to connect with them. It is so much more fulfilling than I could ever ask for and I would not expect most people to understand. The only thing I could ask for would be love, guidance, and support.
When it comes to traveling and purpose, they are correlating more and more with each and every travel. It's not just exploring rather its a cultural learning experience. It's interacting with locals and empowering them, validating their hard work, helping them seek purpose in their life, helping with kids or family problems. It's about building community by identifying strengths within individuals and families. Always exploring churches and actively observing their influence in the community. There are always people that will need my help around the world- and that will never end- never. It's my life commitment dedicated to people since the age of 10 years old. I received a calling and I follow it until my death.
